Happy Meal Plan Monday, Readers!
How is every body doing?!
We have been busy busy busy. We had a great weekend and went to a winery in the Northern SD area and drank wayyy too much wine. Also, I tasted a port wine that literally tasted like a chocolate tootsie roll!
And I also made my redemption pizza this weekend and it turned out much better! So, now I can move onto the next homemade thing.
I am sticking to 5 meals per week now. I notice we waste less food and its a little easier to keep up with our social schedules.
As always, you can follow along with me on Instagram!
Monday // Fried Cod with Green Beans and Fruit
During the summers of my childhood years my grandparents owned a cabin in the woods of Minnesota. And every summer we would go and visit as a family for weeks or months at a time and fish all day long!
I would sit on the dock, catch sun fish and blue gills, my dad and brothers would skin them and my grandpa would fry them up.
So, I am going to try it out this week! However, I don’t think I will ever taste a fried fish as good as my Grandpa’s!
Tuesday // Grilled Chicken Pesto Pasta with Squash Veggies
I saw a picture with those ingredients and thought it looked so yummy and easy! So, this week I am making it!
Wednesday // Turkey and Feta Meatballs with CousCous and Veggies
I have a list on my phone of meal ideas that I want to cook up. This has been on that list for awhile!
We have been on a Greek kick for a little while so this will continue for the craving!
Thursday // Leftovers!
Friday // Seasoned Chicken Brats with Sweet Potatoes and Broccoli
I have seen packages of chicken brats, or burgers, and have tasted the free samples at the store. I thought it might be time to try it out!
Saturday // Homemade Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Garlic Bread, and Green Beans!
I have been talking a lot to friends and family about making things from scratch. I really enjoy the process of actually making the food I eat so I am going to continue that with making homemade noodles again!
What other made-from-scratch items and I going to try? Well, chicken broth, real tomato sauce, pesto, ravioli, bread, and more!
Alright! There you have it! The meals for this week!
I hope you enjoyed them and maybe make some for yourself!
Let me know what meals or things you like making from scratch in the comments below!
