Guacamole. Is there anyone that seriously doesn’t love guacamole?
Because I do. I literally make guacamole like 3 times a week!
So here is my own recipe of Guacamole.
**Note: I don’t actually take specific measurements, I just throw it in there till it looks and tastes good**
Ingredients
4-5 Ripe Avocados (or as many as you want)
1/4 C Diced Red Onion
1/4 C Diced Tomatoes
2 T Lime Juice
1/8 Tsp Garlic Salt
*You can also use things like jalapenos, cumin, onion powder, cilantro, a combination of pico de gallo or salt and pepper. You can’t really go wrong with this recipe!
Instructions
1st – Cut the avocado, take the pit out and toss it, scoopt the avocado and throw it into a bowl to be mashed! In this picture below, I used 3 1/2 avocados. Make sure to take the brown or bad parts out.
2nd – Mince up some onion, however much you want, and throw it into the bowl. (I used white onion here instead of red onion)
*As you can see, I didn’t use the whole onion. I used about 1/4 of a cup.
3rd – Chop up some tomato, and throw it into the bowl. This is not the best picture in the world, but that is how much I used.
4th – Put some lime juice in there. For this amount I used about 1 1/2 T. My husband and I like it really limey so we use a lot. And, if the avocado isn’t quite ripe enough I would use a little more to give it some more flavor.
5th – Garlic salt. This can be overpowering so be careful on how much you use. If its a larger batch I use maybe 1/4 Teaspoon. ** You can use garlic powder as well. The salt will give it a really bright tasting flavor!
6th- Mash it all up!! Then taste. If it’s not to your liking, add a little more of whatever you like!
Dip it with a chip and you’re good to go! I forgot to take a picture of the end result so here is a fake one, haha!
Thanks for reading, Enjoy!
